Pneumatic Fluorine-Lined Gate Valve: Product Overview
The pneumatic fluorine-lined gate valve is a shut-off gate valve designed specifically for highly corrosive operating conditions. The valve body substrate is made of cast steel or ductile iron, while the flow passage, gate, and seat are fully lined with fluoroplastics (PTFE, F46, or PFA). The medium contacts only the fluoroplastic lining—remaining completely isolated from the metal substrate—ensuring excellent chemical corrosion resistance.
It utilizes a rising-gate mechanism for opening and closing; when fully open, the flow passage is unobstructed with minimal flow resistance and no dead zones where media might accumulate. Equipped with a pneumatic actuator, it can be paired with solenoid valves, limit switches, and air filter regulators to enable rapid remote control. Certain models can also be fitted with positioners for throttling applications.
Applicable Temperature: -29°C to 250°C (PFA lining up to 250°C; PTFE/F46 up to 200°C)

Full Fluorine Lining for Corrosion Resistance: The valve body, gate, and seat are fully lined with fluoroplastic, providing resistance against the vast majority of corrosive media, including hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, caustic soda, strong oxidizers, and organic solvents.
2. Straight-Through Flow Path without Dead Zones: The unobstructed flow path in the fully open position prevents the accumulation of deposits, crystals, or sludge, making it suitable for corrosive media containing trace suspended solids.
3. Rapid Pneumatic Response: Pneumatically driven for quick opening and closing; compatible with DCS automation systems and capable of fail-safe operation (fail-open or fail-closed).
4. Reliable Sealing: Features a soft fluoroplastic seal that achieves Class VI shut-off standards, effectively preventing both internal leakage and external seepage.

Material Options: PTFE for standard corrosion resistance; F46 for superior toughness, negative pressure resistance, and resistance to delamination; PFA for high-temperature and permeation resistance, suitable for high-temperature, high-purity, and highly corrosive applications.    ✅ Suitable for: Chemical, chlor-alkali, environmental desulfurization, pickling, pharmaceutical, and agrochemical industries; on/off isolation for pipelines conveying highly corrosive media; vacuum/negative-pressure corrosive pipelines; and corrosive fluids that tend to crystallize or contain small amounts of slurry.
   ❌ Not suitable for: Media containing large, hard, sharp particles (which can scratch the lining); molten alkali metals; liquid fluorine; or operating conditions exceeding temperature and pressure limits.
